TERMS OF SERVICE

This website is operated by AstroMax, LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Throughout these terms, "we", "us", "our" and "AstroMax" refer to AstroMax, LLC. "You" refers to anyone visiting this site or placing an order.

By using this site or buying from us, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, don't use the site.

WHO CAN BUY FROM US

You must be at least 18 years old, or be the age of majority where you live, to place an order. By ordering you confirm that you meet that requirement and that the payment information you've given us is your own and is accurate.

PRODUCTS AND PRICING

We sell one product: a set of four starlight LED floor mats.

Prices are listed in US dollars and may change at any time. If a price changes after you've placed an order, we honour the price you paid.

We do our best to describe the product accurately and to show it as it actually looks. Colours can appear differently on different screens, and the brightness of the lights in photographs and video depends on the conditions they were captured in.

We may limit the quantity available to any one customer or refuse an order at our discretion. If we cancel an order you've paid for, we'll refund you in full.

ORDERS AND PAYMENT

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept that offer when we ship, and we may decline before then for any reason — including suspected fraud, an address we can't ship to, or a pricing error.

Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify's payment processing. We don't store your card details.

You're responsible for giving us a correct shipping address. See our shipping policy for what happens if an address is wrong.

SHIPPING AND RETURNS

Shipping times, costs and delivery estimates are set out in our shipping policy. Returns, refunds and replacement parts are covered in our refund policy. Both policies form part of these terms.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Any import duties, taxes or customs charges on international orders are the recipient's responsibility. We have no control over them and can't predict what they'll be.

USING THE PRODUCT

The mats are powered by USB and are designed to be laid in a vehicle footwell and plugged into a USB port. They are not to be modified, cut, spliced, hardwired into a vehicle's electrical system, or used in any way other than as intended.

Position the mats so they don't interfere with the pedals or with your control of the vehicle. You're responsible for installing them safely and for complying with any local laws about interior vehicle lighting.

We're not responsible for damage or injury resulting from modification, improper installation, or use contrary to these instructions.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Everything on this site — text, photographs, video, graphics, layout, and the AstroMax name and logo — belongs to us or is used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce or use any of it commercially without our written consent.

CUSTOMER PHOTOGRAPHS AND REVIEWS

If you submit a review, photograph or video to us or to a platform where we sell, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce and display it in connection with our business, including on this site and in advertising.

You confirm that anything you submit is your own, that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights, and that it isn't unlawful, abusive or obscene. We may remove or decline to publish anything at our discretion.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

This site runs on Shopify and uses third-party services for payment processing, analytics and advertising. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices, which we don't control.

The mats can optionally be controlled through the Lotus Lantern app, which is a third-party application we neither own nor operate. Your use of it is governed by that developer's terms.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

Beyond what's set out in our refund policy — including the replacement of faulty parts, which we honour with no time limit — the site and the product are provided as they are, without any other warranty, express or implied.

We don't warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of anything harmful, and we don't guarantee that any result you get from using the product will meet your expectations.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer protection law that can't be limited by agreement.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of your use of this site or the product is limited to the amount you paid for your order.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost profits or loss of data, even if we've been advised such damages are possible.

Some states don't allow these limitations, in which case they apply to the extent that state's law permits.

INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AstroMax, LLC and anyone acting on our behalf from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from them will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

SEVERABILITY

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, that part is severed and the rest remains in effect.
